By registering for our Spaas Community, you agree to the following terms and conditions of participation:

CHAPTER 1: TERMS AND CONDITIONS

ARTICLE 1

The Spaas Community is set up by Spaas Kaarsen NV, Industriestraat 11, B-3930 Hamont, Belgium, with company number BE 0435.854.157 (the organiser) for the purpose of gaining insights into both the existing and new product range, services and communication. Spaas Kaarsen NV reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions of participation from time to time.

CHAPTER 2: TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION

ARTICLE 2

As a member of the Spaas Community, the participant automatically accepts the general terms and conditions associated with it, as well as any other decision that the organiser may have to make.

ARTICLE 3

As a member of the Spaas Community, the participant declares that they are over 18 years of age. Participation is from the consumer's point of view and not in the context of business operations or for business/commercial purposes.

ARTICLE 4

When registering for the Spaas Community, Spaas Kaarsen NV is not obliged to actually select the registrant as a participant. Registration does not entitle the registrant to actually participate in product testing and other activities of the Spaas Community. Spaas Kaarsen NV has the right to refuse registration for any reason whatsoever.

ARTICLE 5

To become a member of the Spaas Community, the participant must be registered for the Spaas newsletter and have completed the accompanying introductory questionnaire in full. The participant must have a valid personal email address. This email address will be used to communicate all information regarding product testing, surveys and/or meetings. Furthermore, a valid place of residence must be provided to which any products or documentation can be sent.

ARTICLE 6

The members of the Spaas Community will be contacted (in good time) by Spaas Kaarsen NV via email with instructions. The frequency will be determined by Spaas Kaarsen NV and depends on the research that Spaas Kaarsen NV wishes to conduct. Members of the Spaas Community agree to strictly comply with Spaas Kaarsen NV’s instructions at all times, including handling the test product sent to them with care, completing the questionnaire accompanying the product test fully and truthfully within the specified period, and returning the product in good condition after the test (unless otherwise agreed). If a member fails to comply with these conditions, Spaas Kaarsen NV has the right to remove the member from the Spaas Community at any time.

ARTICLE 7

Spaas Kaarsen NV is not obliged to engage every member for every test and determines at any time which members it engages for which test. Furthermore, Spaas Kaarsen NV is not obliged to inform the members of this.

ARTICLE 8

Spaas Kaarsen NV is never liable to pay you any (financial) compensation or other allowance for the product tests carried out or for costs incurred by members in connection with this (unless otherwise agreed).

ARTICLE 9

Membership of the Spaas Community and participation in specific tests is entirely at your own expense and risk. Spaas Kaarsen NV is not liable for any direct and/or indirect damage that may arise from this membership.

ARTICLE 10

Members of the Spaas Community undertake not to share any information, images or experiences from the community in their own environment, on social media, blogs, forums or other public channels, unless this is expressly permitted by Spaas Kaarsen NV, the community administrator.

All test products, concepts, campaigns or feedback moments are confidential and may not be discussed with third parties.

If a member fails to comply with these conditions, Spaas Kaarsen NV has the right to remove the member from the Spaas Community at any time.

CHAPTER 3: PRIVACY TERMS AND CONDITIONS

ARTICLE 11

Spaas Kaarsen NV is entitled to publish all texts/reviews that the member fills in on the questionnaire or otherwise makes available to Spaas Kaarsen NV, including for advertising, promotional and other (commercial or non-commercial) purposes, in print and in electronic form, including via the internet and similar networks. Spaas Kaarsen NV is not obliged to publish or otherwise disclose the questionnaires completed or reviews provided by the member, for example if Spaas Kaarsen NV deems them to be unusable.

ARTICLE 12

All members of the Spaas Community give Spaas Kaarsen NV permission to publish their first name on the Spaas website and to store personal data in a database. Each member has free access to this data in order to request corrections and/or adjustments if necessary. To do so, each member can contact the marketing department of Spaas Kaarsen NV via marketing@spaas.be.
