The Warmest Week looks somewhat different in the time of COVID-19. No major fundraisers, but rather a sincere thank you to all of the people that made a difference in the past year.
For example, Down the road presenter, Dieter Coppens travelled Flanders in a soup bus. And, there are numerous thank-you promotions on various public media channels.
As is the custom every year, the Warmest Week concludes with a closing show. This consists of 4.5 hours of live television sprinkled with thanks, stories, and music. The star of the show… the life-size logo of The Warmest Week. The flame is made up of several hundred amber-coloured Beelights from Spaas.
So be sure to tune in to Eén on 24 December and enjoy an extra cosy Christmas Eve in with your household bubble.
