Spaas is among the top 15% worldwide in terms of sustainability.
Spaas Candles was awarded the EcoVadis Silver label in 2026. This assessment is based on three dimensions of sustainability: Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG). As a result, Spaas ranks among the top 15% of best-performing companies in terms of sustainability. The evaluation criteria were recently made significantly more stringent, making it more challenging to obtain this Silver label. With this achievement, Spaas aims to demonstrate that quality can go hand in hand with sustainability and responsible business practices.

EcoVadis RatingSince its founding in 2007, the EcoVadis platform has grown into one of the world’s largest providers of sustainability ratings for companies. EcoVadis is an independent body that assesses more than 150,000 companies worldwide on their sustainability and corporate social responsibility performance.
It recognizes Spaas’ achievements across four key areas:
- environment
- labour and human rights
- ethics
- sustainable procurement
The assessment becomes more stringent each year, meaning this certification is by no means a given. After continuously investing in sustainability over recent years, Spaas has now earned the EcoVadis Silver label, placing the company among the top 15% of best-performing businesses in terms of sustainability.
