Terracotta candle, the finishing touch on the terrace!

Finally, summer has arrived. Time to enjoy the nice weather and the cosy evenings on your terrace. A snack, a drink and ... a timeless terracotta candle to bring it all together. But what are the advantages of such a terracotta candle?

Can take a punch (even when it’s windy)
An outdoor candle must, of course, be able to withstand a bit more than an indoor candle. That is why we provide our terracotta outdoor candle with a special wick. By doing so, the flame is bigger, it doesn't go out with the slightest wind or rain and you can enjoy every hour of summer.
The larger flame also ensures that the melted candle wax is more easily absorbed by the wick. The extra heat that is generated is necessary, as it is often cooler outside and candle wax does not melt as easily.
Is the candle still burning? Then it is best to bring it inside because this candle might be able to withstand rain and wind, but it can’t handle warm temperatures. The sun’s heat could deform the candle, which would of course be a shame.
More candle wax for longer burning time
More heat also means that the candle wax burns up faster. This is often also the biggest disadvantage of a candle in a terracotta dish: they do not burn very long.
With a width of 13.8 cm and a height of 8.2 cm, we provide enough candle wax to ensure that Spaas’ terracotta garden candle can easily burn for 11 hours .
An atypical colour
When someone says terracotta candle, you automatically think of the standard red-brown terracotta bowls. That’s not very exciting, is it? At Spaas, we went a step further and developed a garden candle that offers added value for every terrace.
We gave this timeless classic a new look by using white terracotta bowls. The round shape and the black candle wax complete the look. Ready to sparkle the cosiness on your terrace.
